Golden Circle Tours
Þingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss in a day — which version suits you and what is included.
Choose your tour
The Golden Circle is three big stops inside 300 km: Þingvellir in the rift valley between continents, Geysir where Strokkur erupts every few minutes, and Gullfoss. Everyone visits — the only question is whether you go by coach, in a small group or by yourself.
The Classic Golden Circle Tour
A half-day coach tour from Reykjavík stopping at Þingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss. The straightforward option if you have no car.
Small-Group Golden Circle
A smaller vehicle, shorter queues and more flexibility at each stop. Often includes Kerið crater or a hot spring.
Golden Circle & Whale Watching
Two tours in one day: the circle in the morning and a sail on Faxaflói bay in the afternoon. A long day, but efficient.

Before you book
- Go early or late: between 10:00 and 15:00 is the busiest stretch at Geysir and Gullfoss.
- Gullfoss is often wet and windy — good shoes and a waterproof jacket matter more than looking smart.
- Self-driving the circle is easy year-round, but check road conditions on the Þingvellir road after snow.
